Dr. Chuck Queen retired as Senior Pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church, Frankfort, Kentucky today after more than 21 years of dedicated and faithful service. He began his work at Immanuel in August of 2002. Before coming to Frankfort, he pastored churches in Waldorf, Maryland and Greenup, Kentucky.
Dr. Queen received his Master of Divinity degree from Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana (1985) and his Doctor of Ministry degree the from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky (1995).
Immediately following today’s worship, we held a retirement luncheon with the entire Queen family to honor his tenure leading us as Senior Pastor. We celebrated his years leadership and teachings based on a loving and inclusive Jesus. Please join the entire Immanuel family in thanking him for his service. We wish him the best as he begins this next exciting chapter of his life that includes more time with family, writing and, of course, lots of fishing!
