Stepping Up Sunday and Blessing of the Backpacks

Join us for “Stepping Up Sunday.” We will recognize our children and youth, who are stepping into new school and Sunday School grade levels; celebrate all the teachers, administrators, and other school personnel who are preparing for the new school year; and bless gifts that we will share with schools and students both at the beginning of the year and throughout the year. Our entire Sunday morning service will be organized around this theme.

Students are invited to wear their backpacks to church that day, and teachers can also bring backpacks, tote bags, briefcases, or whatever else they might use to transport their school supplies!
