I’m New
You are welcome at Immanuel Baptist Church.

We are happy you’re interested in experiencing and expressing God’s unconditional love with us and we can’t wait to meet you!
It can be overwhelming to visit a new church, and we want to provide you with answers to as many questions as you may have to make you comfortable.
You can find out more about our beliefs by reading the Who We Are portion of the website, and we encourage you to check out one of our services (live or archived) here or on our social media pages.

We’re located in a beautiful neighborhood in Frankfort, Kentucky, and there’s ample parking and spacious grounds for gathering outside.
Entrances to the church are marked with signage, and there’s accessible parking close by.
If you enter through the doors marked, “main entrance,” you will find restrooms immediately to your right and convenient access to Sunday School classes (which meet at 9:30 a.m.) and our children’s area.

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by members of our friendly (but not aggressive!) congregation.
We have a nursery and opportunities for children to worship separately during the bulk of the service. You are welcome to keep your children with you in the sanctuary as well. You can expect people to say good morning and welcome you to the service, and you’ll have the opportunity to provide the church with your information if you’d like, but this is optional.
You can expect some aspects of our service to be traditional, such as the music of our highly skilled organist and pianist, our choir, hymns, and overall flow of the morning.
However, you’ll often hear laughter and experience worship without formality or dress codes. You can expect a welcoming and loving message from our Pastor, Rev. Dr. Emily Holladay, and we are happy to facilitate whatever form of involvement you may wish to have after your visit.
We encourage you to reach out to the church office if you are planning to visit and have any concerns, or if you prefer to come a few minutes early and have an opportunity to ask questions and tour the building.
We cannot wait to meet you.
