Music

At Immanuel, our Music Ministries are committed to providing a comprehensive church music program of training and presentation. We seek to provide various musical opportunities in this church setting that will:
enrich the individual lives of participants enrich the corporate worship experiences of the entire congregation reach out to the Frankfort community.

We encourage church musicians of all ages to grow spiritually and musically, mentally and emotionally as they develop and use their God-given musical talents. Our striving for excellence reflects our imaging of God as being worthy of our very best efforts.

In addition, we have a commitment to reach out to and include “non-musicians” and those with limited musical skills in musical opportunities. We believe that everyone has innate musical talents that can be used to worship and serve the Lord.

In other words, there is a place for you in our music ministries!

Current Musical Opportunities:
Children’s Choirs (age 3-grade 3, grades 4- 9)
Meets most Wednesdays 6:30 pm–7:15 pm August thru May

Sanctuary Choir (adults, including older youth/college age)
Meets most Wednesdays 7:30 pm–8:45 pm year-round

Women’s Ensemble (adults, openings as needed for blend)
Meets most Wednesdays 9:00–10:00 am year-round

Handbell Choir (adults/youth, limited spaces)
Meets periodically year-round.

Rainbow Ringers (children/preschoolers)
(uses Kristal Bell method handbell ringing)
Meets most Wednesdays 5:30–6:00 pm,
during the school year
This group is under the direction of

Instrumentalists (all ages)
We are always looking for instrumental solos/duets/ensembles
to enhance our worship experiences.
