Missions

Immanuel has been a mission-minded church since day one.
We are always looking for ways to get involved in helping others and expressing God’s love.
It is important to our congregation to have an impact locally, regionally, nationally, and globally. We have a Missions Ministry Team which provides leadership and coordination for the church, ensuring we focus on meeting the moment and helping as needs arise.
Mission Highlights
Our Community
Immanuel meets the needs of the community surrounding the church by providing a free yard sale and community event, Immanuelfest, as well as opportunities for safe and free children’s activities.
Local
Locally, we provide support and tangible needs through the Infant Resource Center and use of our building as a Warming and Cooling Center, as well as providing meeting space for community groups.
We also help provide financial assistance to Frankfort residents in need through partnership with the Resource Office for Social Ministries.
State
We are involved in the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Kentucky, and support their yearly Extreme Build initiative to build a house in two weeks for someone in one of Kentucky’s most impoverished counties.
We also support Kentucky Refugee Ministry, Together for Hope Appalachia, and Frankfort Social Ministries.
International
Internationally, we support Partners in Development, helping rural African communities to improve their quality of life.
We have also sustained partnership with a church in Morocco through CBF Kentucky, and we assist a church in Cameroon.

As a mission-minded church, we’ve impacted communities large and small across the globe.
We are proud of our work and are continually evaluating how we can continue to have a positive impact and express God’s love.
Get Involved
We are always in need of volunteers to participate, and are constantly on the look-out for more ways to extend God’s unconditional love further and wider.
