At Immanuel, our Music Ministries seek first and foremost to glorify God through music.
We are committed to providing a comprehensive church music program of training and presentation.
We seek to offer various musical opportunities in this church setting that will:
Enrich the individual lives of participants;
Enrich the corporate worship experiences of the entire congregation;
Reach out to the Frankfort community.
We encourage church musicians of all ages to grow spiritually and musically, mentally and emotionally as they develop and use their God-given musical talents.
Our striving for excellence reflects our imaging of God as being worthy of our very best efforts, but our primary goal is to lift up a joyful noise unto the Lord!
In addition, we have a commitment to reach out to and include “non-musicians” and those with limited musical skills in musical opportunities.
We believe that everyone has innate musical talents that can be used to worship and serve the Lord. In other words, there is a place for you in our music ministries!
Our primary musical opportunity at this time is the sanctuary choir, which rehearses on Wednesday evenings in the choir suite.
Sanctuary choir is open to singers of all ages and skill levels.
The choir sings a variety of musical styles, and performs at least one cantata each year.
