Wednesdays

As a church community, we desire to deepen relationships with each other and further our impact within the Frankfort/Franklin County community more broadly.
Periodically throughout the year, we host Wednesday Night Dinner and Discussions for 6-8 weeks at a time.
From 5-6 p.m., we gather in Fellowship Hall for dinner and fellowship, encouraging church folks to engage with one another in conversations that help us to know one another better and be more attentive to each other’s joys and concerns. During this time, we will also have a prayer time for our church and members of our community.
From 6-7 p.m., we host either guided discussion about important issues to our larger community, exploring how we can be more involved and invested in things that are important to our neighbors or presentations from community leaders who can help points us to such ideas and partnerships.
When we have Wednesday Night Dinners, the sanctuary choir rehearses from 7-8 p.m. During breaks from Wednesday Nights Dinners, the choir rehearses from 6-7 p.m.
Children and youth have the option to participate in Wednesday night programming or to play in our “pray ground,” which is set up with activities to engage the children, but allow them to “overhear” these important conversations.
Their presence reminds the adults the importance of investing in these relationships and service opportunities for the long-haul, and helps to instill within them a passion for the church’s mission.
