At the Field of Hope, we work every day to provide the most vulnerable with access to education, dignity, and opportunity.

Many of our children walk long distances to school with no book bags, no pencils, no notebooks, and in many cases, no shoes. In the world they live in, having a pencil for school and to use at home is a luxury – one that many simply cannot afford. Along with education comes the opportunity to thrive in the area of sport. These kinds and young people are passionate about sport, and they have the skill to prove it – but lack the resources. The national sport in Zambia is soccer. We have a soccer field and sand volleyball court at the Field of Hope. These sporting activities are vital for our children who face a life of extreme poverty. It also keeps them out of harm’s way. Before you think about pitching those soccer and volleyball uniforms in the dumpster, please think about giving them to these passionate young players in need of the resources. We need the following:

  • School supplies (pens, pencils, notebooks, rulers, erasers, backpacks)
  • School uniforms (primary and middle school sizes)
  • Soccer and volleyball uniforms
  • Shoes and socks for school and sport
  • Two official soccer nets
  • Volleyballs and a few chess sets

Your donation could bring not just clothing or gear, but possibility and opportunity to a child. In gratitude for your support, Lonnie and Fran
