If you were at the Business Meeting on May 15, you know that we are in the process of getting a new church sign, thanks to a very generous donation. The new sign will have a digital display, and we will be able to update the sign’s content online. This is going to make such a difference in our ability to get news out to our community – and keep the church sign updated with current information!
The sign has been ordered, and the installers are currently obtaining a permit for the sign (we were pre-approved, so this should not be a problem). Once the permit is obtained, it will take 6-8 weeks for the sign to be made, as it is a custom design. Next, it will take a week to be shipped to the installer, and then 2-5 weeks following shipment for the sign to be installed on our property. So, we are looking at a 2.5 – 4 month timeline before the sign is up and fully functional. Hopefully it will be in place in time for Immanuelfest!
