Many people have asked – what’s the update with the Church Directory?

Well – we now have an answer!

On Sundays, June 14, 21, and 28, Andrew Tippett will be hosting photo sessions for family and individual photos. Sign-ups are available at:
https://tinyurl.com/ibcphotoshoot or by calling the church office.

The photo sessions are for anyone who wants a new picture – whether you were unable to participate in the last directory photo shoot or you would like to re-take your pictures. If the Sunday sessions fill up, we will add extra dates/times. Our goal is to get the pictures finished in June so that the directory will be ready by the end of the summer. If you do not want a new picture, we will use the picture we have from September.

When we were working on the directory in fall, we anticipated that our church management software would make creating a digital directory simple. We learned quickly that nothing is as simple as it looks, so we had to move back to square one. Since then, we have also learned that there are a number of people who would prefer to have a printed copy of the directory.

Our wonderful summer intern, Annie, is currently working on a template for a directory that can be made available both digitally and in print. Once we have the pictures, we will be able to put them into her design and get the directory out to you all before the start of the next church year (September 1).

There may be a cost for printed copies, but we will let you know of that once we know how many pages the book will be. The photo shoots will be available at no cost and you will receive a digital copy of your image for free.
