As much as the past rainy season brought much-needed rain and blessings to our people, it also brought destruction, loss, and uncertainty for many.

Along the Zambezi River, 220 households living on the islands depend on their maize fields to survive and provide for their families. Tragically, the heavy rainfall caused the Zambezi River to overflow, flooding and destroying their crops. In a matter of days, the harvest they had worked so hard for was lost.

These families are now facing an incredibly difficult season and are in urgent need of our help. Our goal is to provide each household with one 25kg bag of maize meal per month to help ensure that families have food on their tables. Each bag costs $20, while transportation to the islands costs $233.

In times like these, even the smallest act of kindness can make a life-changing difference.

Your support, no matter how big or small, will not only help provide food but also bring hope to families in need.

Please help us remind them that they are not alone during this difficult time.

In gratitude and hope for your support.
