As we have made our way back to Kentucky for a few months, we want to share a heartfelt update of growth and gratitude from The Field of Hope.
The library being built in honor of Fran is coming together beautifully. The windows are being made and will be installed. Very soon it will be a place of hope where children and students will gather to read, learn, and dream. This library will provide them with resources and media they often do not have access to in their homes or at school. The knowledge they gain through reading and education will empower them to succeed in life.
Our harvest this season has been abundant. We have started grinding the maize for our local people. This grinding mill was sponsored by generous supporters like you. One Monday, we packed 12 bags of ground nuts and we’re not done yet. These staples are vital to our people, and this harvest will provide food security to so many families in our community.
None of this would have been possible without your generous donations and unwavering support for our people. You are truly a beacon of hope in a world where it seems there is no hope.
In gratitude and hope for your support,
Lonnie and Fran
